ETERNITY HONORE
A PORTFOLIO
ABOUT ME

Rapper Young Thug said in an interview, “I just needed the platform, I had the plan,” when discussing his first record deal. This struck a chord with me because I felt exactly where he was coming from professionally and personally. There are millions of great products, services, and people throughout the world, but without the right platform it’s hard for them to succeed. This is why I chose to dedicate my career to uplifting voices through communication.
As a professional:
I have experience with a wide array or organizations within different realms of communication. In the corporate setting, I have worked with Hearst Magazines and contributed to RFPs for Delish, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Town & Country, and other magazines within the Hearst Portfolio through visual communication and data analysis. During my time at Louisiana State University, I collaborated with Exxon Mobil to assist in the execution of stakeholder events and social media content.
I also have a multitude of experience working with local non-profit organizations such as The Baton Rouge Improv Festival and Yes We Cannibal. At BRIF I attained project management experience and assisted with fundraising, event planning, content creation, and campaign execution. While at YWC, I created graphics to promote the anti-profit gallery's Future Ex Youth events. One of these graphics was later shown at a collaborative art show between Yes We Cannibal and The Good Children Gallery entitled, "Capitol Offense".

VISUAL COMMUNICATION

BATON ROUGE IMPROV FESTIVAL
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
These are promotional flyers and social media content created for the Baton Rouge Improv Festival. The theme for the 2023 festival is the age- old idiom, "Laugh to Keep From Crying". These flyers blend modern problems with old-fashioned solutions to create a dynamic form of visual communication.
YESWECANNIBAL
EVENT PROMOTION
Eternity continues to promote the arts through her collaboration with YesWeCannibal. YWC is an anti-profit institution for experimental art and social practice located in Baton Rouge, La. These flyers promote YWC's event series "Future Ex Youth". One of the posters even made it into the Yes We Cannibal x Good Children "Capitol Offense" art show.
KELWOOD CONTEMPORARY ART:
WEB DESIGN
Kelwood Contemporary Art showcases local, regional, and national contemporary art, often exploring artists' responses to current global issues. The gallery and studio, also serves as the creative hub for artist Jennifer Carwile. In this project I redesigned the entire website, utilized SEO, and create an e- commerce store for 100+ items.

'Everybody lied': Almost 60 years later, family still seeks answers in disappearance of La. man
Eternity Honore and Claire Sullivan - LSU Manship School News Service
Six decades after a Louisiana man’s disappearance and presumed murder, his family is still looking for answers and a body to bury.
Carl Ray Thompson, then 26, spotted his cousin’s two-toned Buick on the side of the Ferriday-Vidalia highway as he sat in the back of a sheriff’s car in July 1964.
His cousin, Joseph “Joe-Ed” Edwards, had gone missing just a couple days prior, his family left with only rumors as to his whereabouts. Thompson had spent a night sitting in a Ferriday jail cell for a robbery he did not participate in, listening as sheriff’s deputies beat three or four other young Black men arrested for the crime.
As the night dragged on, Thompson felt his turn for a beating coming. But morning came, and the arrival of the regular office staff spared him the brutality the deputies reserved for the privacy of night.

The Mayor’s Youth Workforce Experience:
Pathways to Success
Eternity Honore - Fantom Light Productions
The Mayor’s Youth Workforce Experience (MYWE) is an internship and enrichment program that bridges the gap between teaching work and life for Baton Rouge’s youth through this summer initiative.
MYWE was developed by East Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome in collaboration with Big Buddy to create pathways to success for teens.
This is achieved by, “providing young adults with a chance to discover interests, build skills, and explore careers through experiences that can serve as the foundation for educational and professional success,” stated Mayor-President Broome on the MYWE website.
This year, the MYWE program focused on reaching “high-risk” youth, which the program defines as students who are at a higher risk of being perpetrators or victims of gun violence.
In Louisiana, gun violence is the number one cause of death for children and teens. Nationwide, cases of gun violence are known to increase in the summer months, which puts youth even more at risk.
